  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1/3 cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
  • OR 1/3 stick Crisco® Baking Sticks All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped salted or unsalted pecans
  • 1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ounce (1 square) semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 tablespoon milk
Preparation Directions
  • Step 1Heat oven to 350ºF. Coat an 11 1/2 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch pan with no-stick cooking spray.
  • Step 2Melt shortening and chocolate together; stir until smooth. Set aside to cool.
  • Step 3Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla in medium bowl until thick. Add cooled chocolate mixture; beat until blended. Stir in flour and salt; add pecans. Turn into pan; spread evenly.
  • Step 4Bake 25 minutes. Cool in pan on rack.
  • Step 1Combine all frosting ingredients in medium bowl; beat until smooth and of spreading consistency. Spread on cooled brownies. Chill before cutting into bars. Store covered in refrigerator.
