Yield 4 to 6 servings

  • 1 (15 to 16 oz.) can pink salmon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup minced onion
  • 1/2 cup Pillsbury BEST™ All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • Tartar sauce, Tomato Slices, Lettuce
  • 6 sandwich buns
Preparation Directions
  • Step 1Drain salmon, reserving 2 tablespoons liquid. Combine salmon, egg and onion in medium bowl. Stir in flour. Combine baking powder with reserved liquid. Stir into salmon mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 2Form into 6 patties. Heat oil in shallow skillet. Fry patties about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with tartar sauce, tomato slice and lettuce on sandwich bun.
