

Carrot Spice Cake
INGREDIENTS
1 package Pillsbury™ Moist Supreme® Spice Cake Mix
3 large eggs
1/2 cup oil
2/3 cup water
1 1/2 cups grated carrots
2 tubs of Pillsbury™ Creamy Supreme® Cream Cheese Frosting
3 cups toasted pecan pieces
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions for two 8-inch round cakes. Mix at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add grated carrots and mix until combined.
Step 2
Divide the batter evenly into two prepared 8-inch round cake pans. Bake and cool according to package baking instructions.
Step 3
Once the cakes are cooled, place one layer on a serving plate. Top with 1 cup of cream cheese frosting. Add the second layer on top.
Step 4
Cover the entire cake with the remaining frosting. Decorate by coating the sides of the frosted cake with toasted pecans and garnish the top with additional pecans.
