Christmas Tree Cake Molds Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Holiday Cake & Cupcake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
Funfetti Holiday Sprinkles
White chocolate chips (12 oz.) with green food coloring or green candy melts
Silicone Christmas tree cake mold
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS
Step 1
PREHEAT oven to 325°F. In a large bowl, prepare cake mix according to box instructions. Spray silicone mold with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2
FILL the mold halfway with cake batter. Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the edges are light and golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cake cool for 15 minutes before removing. Remove cake and let cool complete. Clean the silicone mold thoroughly with soap and water to remove grease. Dry completely.
Step 3
MELT white chocolate chips with green food coloring added or green candy melts in a microwave safe bowl, stirring once every 30 seconds until melted. Add Funfetti Holiday Sprinkles into the empty silicone mold. Using a spoon, carefully add melted chocolate to the bottom. Press cooled cake into the cavity on top of the melted chocolate. Transfer to the fridge for at minimum 45 minutes.
Step 4
REMOVE from the fridge and carefully invert the mold. Serve and enjoy!
