Funfetti® Dinosaur Pull-Apart Cupcake Cake
INGREDIENTS
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Premium Cake and Cupcake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box directions
2 tubs Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Dinosaur Vanilla Frosting
Green, yellow and black food coloring
Jumbo candy eye
Piping bags
Piping tip (number 2A and number 12)
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS
Step 1
PREPARE cake mix according to box instructions using water, oil and eggs to make 24 cupcakes. Cool completely.
Step 2
TINT one frosting tub green to create the “dino”. Tint ¼ of another frosting tub yellow. Tint ¼ of another frosting black. Spoon the yellow frosting into a piping bag fitted with an open piping tip (number 2A). Spoon the black frosting into a piping bag fitted a small writing piping tip (number 12).
Step 3
PLACE cupcakes onto a serving plate or cutting board in the shape of a dinosaur. Frost the top of the cupcakes with green frosting. Pipe 3 small “toes” on each foot with the yellow frosting.
Step 4
PIPE a small smile with the black frosting onto the “dino’s” head. Add a candy eyeball. Top with sprinkles from frosting lid.
