Easter Bunny Garden Cake Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Chocolate Premium Cake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Confetti Chocolate Fudge Flavored Frosting
1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Confetti Vanilla Flavored Frosting
Chocolate sandwich cookies
Edible candy grass
Jelly beans
Marshmallow bunnies
Green and orange food coloring
Piping bags
Grass piping tip
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS
Step 1
PREPARE cake mix according to package instructions in a 13x9 baking dish. Cool completely.
Step 2
FROST the cake with Funfetti chocolate frosting. In a plastic bag or food processor, crush chocolate sandwich cookies until separated and crumb like. Spread crushed chocolate cookies over the frosted cake. Decorate cake with edible grass, marshmallow bunnies, jelly beans and sprinkles from frosting tubs.
Step 3
DIVIDE Funfetti vanilla frosting tub in ½ and place in separate bowls. Tint one half orange and the other half green with food coloring. Spoon the orange frosting into a piping bag without a piping tip. Snip off the end of the piping bag. Pipe carrots onto the garden cake by applying some pressure on the piping bag, releasing and pressing again to create the indentation of the carrot. Spoon the green frosting into a piping bag fitted with a grass piping tip. Add the carrot top with the green frosting.
