Holiday Mini Wreath Cakes Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Premium Cake and Cupcake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
1 bag of Christmas Tree Nougats
1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Holiday Vanilla Frosting
1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Frosting
Mini disposable round cake pans
Piping bag
Leaf piping tip
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS
Step 1
PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
Step 2
PREPARE cake mix according to box instructions. Grease mini disposable cake pans with non-stick cooking spray. Place a Christmas tree candy nougat into each mini cake round. Fill each pan halfway with cake batter.
Step 3
BAKE at 350°F for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely.
Step 4
FROST cooled cakes with Funfetti Vanilla frosting using a butter knife or offset spatula and smooth.
Step 5
SPOON Funfetti Holiday Frosting into a piping bag fitted with a leaf piping tip. Pipe leaves around each mini cake to create the “wreath”. Top with sprinkles from holiday frosting. Serve and enjoy!
