Funfetti® The Elf on the Shelf® Red and White Swirl Cake Loaf with Whipped Peppermint Frosting Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® The Elf on the Shelf® Swirl Cake Mix
4 eggs, divided
2/3 cup Water, divided
2/3 cup Oil, divided
1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® The Elf on the Shelf® Whipped Peppermint Frosting
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Set oven to 350°F. Coat two 8x4 inch loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2
Prepare white cake batter. In a medium mixing bowl add white cake mix, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup water, and 1/3 cup oil. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Set aside and prepare red batter.
Step 3
Prepare red cake batter. In a separate medium mixing bowl add red cake mix, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup water, and 1/3 cup oil. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Scoop 1/4 cup of the batter into each pan. Alternate red and white batter, evenly between the two pans. Tap the pan on the counter to even out the batter before putting it in the oven.
Step 5
Bake at 350°F. For 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow loaves to cool. Remove from pan.
Step 6
Decorate cooled loaves with Pillsbury™ Funfetti® The Elf on the Shelf® Whipped Peppermint Frosting. Top with sprinkles.
