Red Velvet Cookie Cheesecake Bars
INGREDIENTS
Red Velvet Cookie
1 package Pillsbury Funfetti Valentine’s Day Red Velvet Cookie Mix
4 tablespoons butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
Cheesecake Filling
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon flour
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F. Line 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper.
Step 2
Cookie: Mix together Pillsbury Red Velvet Cookie Mix, butter, egg and water in bowl until thoroughly combined. Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan in an even layer. Reserve the rest of the dough.
Step 3
Cheesecake: Beat cream cheese, sugar and egg with a mixer until smooth. Add in vanilla, salt and flour and beat again. Pour cheesecake filling over the cookie layer and smooth with spatula.
Step 4
Sprinkle the reserved cookie dough on top of the cheesecake filling. Sprinkle tiny hearts on top of cookie dough.
Step 5
Bake for 30 minutes, until top is golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours (until chilled) before slicing and serving.
