Turtle Pull Apart Cupcake Cake Recipe
INGREDIENTS
1 box Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Premium Cake & Cupcake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions
1 tub Pillsbury™ Confetti Funfetti® Chocolate Fudge Flavored Frosting
1 tub Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Confetti Vanilla Flavored Frosting
Green food color
Round piping tips 6, 10 and 3
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS
Step 1
PREHEAT oven to 350F and prepare cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Bake cupcakes (you will need 12 cupcakes per turtle). Let cupcakes cool completely.
Step 2
DYE your Vanilla frosting green. And fill a piping bag with chocolate fudge frosting. Frost 4 cupcakes green and set aside. Arrange 6 cupcakes in a circle and place one cupcake in the center of the circle to create the turtle shell. Frost the shell with chocolate fudge frosting and sprinkle with confetti sprinkles from the frosting lid. With a number 6 tip pipe the shell design. Outline the shell using a number 10 piping tip.
Step 3
PLACE the green cupcakes in the place of the flippers and head. With a number 3 piping tip create the turtle nostril and eyes using the chocolate fudge frosting & enjoy!
